Friday night was a great night out.It was a destresser for me after a frustrating week and EIC was great as usual.Pity they would be taking a break till July.Gotta find another hideout.Its always fun to hangout with the camp guys.After all,going through so much has made us tighter.One thing good that has come out of army is that I know that the good friends I have made,are people I can depend on. Its going through all the shit during course with Sam as my pseudo buddy, the politics at work that has made me identify with the rest and of course working together almost 24/7.

I enjoy hanging out with this bunch.But yet again this nagging feeling tells me not to be too attached cos when its time to leave army,it might be time to leave this bunch as we all go our seperate ways and look for different things to achieve in life.But thats the way life is I guess.Bittersweet.

Bangkok was great fun with sam,berns,jc,isaiah,sidney and poh.Had lots of fun and spent a lot too.Going back to camp the next day to work was damn shitty.The past few days have been rather shitty though.Just glad the week is over.I need sleep sleep and sleep.

Its sad when you see how people change with power.There is a stark difference between being a leader and someone who has a sense of self importance.Give someone power and it changes the person.But remember this,rank and power are temporal.Power corrupts.

Well...I am all packed and in about an hrs time will be leaving for the airport to catch a flight to Bangkok.This whole trip happened rather quickly and its a first for me flying on budget airline and staying at a hotel that cost 75sing for 3 nights.haha.Its gonna be a trip I am looking forward to nonetheless with the camp guys.For those who are wondering,I didnt pack any condoms cos I wont be needing them.haha

Gotta buy lots of stuff and I have a feeling I would come back with excess baggage.Half of which goes to stuff for friends and family.I kinda feel like I am buying stuff for the whole world.Not that I mind getting stuff for friends but the past week any tom,dick and harry in camp has been asking me to buy lighter,t-shirts,alcohol,ciggies and boxers.I dont mind buying and I would love to get everyone something.But its just a bit much.I will try and get everyone something.Mom,dad,sis,bro,the guys,val,cherie,chia(if yr back),joy,dre,ben,mel,church pple and the list goes on i think.yikes...

Lately,I feel like I have been made use of and been taken advantage of.We have been friends for a rather long time and close friends at that.But I dont appreciate being contacted only when he is in need of a favour.I dont mind helping but after a while,it feels like i am being taken advantage of.John said I should revaluate my friends.I dont want to have to even think of revaluating my friends.But if a close friend whom i have known for a rather long while can take advantage of me,anyone else out there can.

Dad's birthday dinner on friday was at Min Jiang at One Rochester.Food was incredible.Especially the peking duck.They roast it for 45 mins in the oven using wood from apple trees.The skin is soft and just nice.And they give juliened leek,cabbage and raddish for you to mix and match.Order in advance though.The atmosphere was great.Service was a bit slow according to my sister who was grumbling that she was hungry.But food was very fresh and very good.Worth the money.

It was a great catching up with dave.Went to cut my hair with him at Reds.Really like the style i got.Young punk.dave calls me.haha.Hung out around marina square and raffles city.Tmr we are gonna go down to town and shop.haha.Buy dad's birthday present and catch mi3.

It was one helluva weekend.Had a lot of fun hanging out with sam and bernie shopping today.I blew my entire spending budget today.Freaking 245bucks on my G-star jeans.My sis was lambasting me about the jeans.But i loved it and was seduced into buying it.Damn.Gonna hug my jeans to sleep tonight.haha.2 weeks time with sam and bernie.bangkok here i am come.HOPEFULLY!!
