Christmas was really different this year. Spending it away from home. It somehow didnt seem like christmas for me. But still.it wasnt without the presents and the christmas wishes.How time really flies and its already coming to the close of 2007. It has indeed been an amazing year not without its ups and downs.

Check out the pictures of fireworks I took on Christmas eve down by the beach. It was amazing looking at the fireworks with the kids down by the waters edge with their lightsticks. 2 more weeks till I leave this place.

A shot of the best sunset I have seen yet. The sky was a little cloudy but you can still see the sun starting to set behind the hills.

Its always hard saying goodbye to the people that I have met on the island. It wasnt easy the first time and it still isnt easy. Its been an incredible time making friends with them and seeing them leave is hard because i never know when i would see them againn especially with everyone coming from all over Australia and New Zealand. It was tough saying bye to Sophie, she being such a cool friend to hang around and it was always great conversation with her.

I have been real lazy when it comes to blogging. Just realised its been almost more than a month. Christmas is almost here. How time flies and I have exactly 41 days left on Hamilton island before I go back home and back to school.

I have learnt so much being here these past few months and things are really getting much better with my new job. I must say that I have been having heaps of fun these past few weeks. A little too much in fact and I should probably start staying at home more and saving me some money.

Had to say goodbye to Madison and Danielle yesterday. Its sad seeing someone leave everytime and they have both been absolutely good friends. Its been a blast having them around and I sure am going too miss them heaps. Sophie leaves tomorrow and James leaves Saturday.
